Access Travel Pty Ltd is an Australian Company ACN 102 761 544. It trades under the names of Access Ireland Holidays and Access UK Holidays.
The Terms and Conditions in this document apply to travel products offered by both Access Ireland Holidays and Access UK Holidays. The booking of any travel product by Access Ireland Holidays and/or Access UK Holidays shall be considered proof that clients have read and accepted without reservation the Terms and Conditions of Access Travel Pty Ltd.
Access Travel Pty Ltd is not itself a carrier, hotelier, tour or car hire operator. It does not own, manage or operate any vehicles or accommodation facilities but acts as an agent for suppliers. All travel products (including vehicles) are provided by reputable suppliers and hoteliers on their own conditions. All bookings with Access Travel Pty Ltd are therefore subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by the various service providers involved in your travel booking, some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage. Access Travel Pty Ltd is responsible to provide to its clients the services and travel products agreed to and paid for by clients, except where the provisions of such services and travel products are amended or delayed by causes of whatever kind beyond the control of Access Travel Pty Ltd. In such cases no refund will be given, but, Access Travel Pty Ltd will seek to provide, to the best of its ability, comparable service and travel products.
No refund will be made for any unused services that are provided by Access Travel Pty Ltd. All vouchers, coupons and tickets or other documentation issued by Access Travel Pty Ltd are subject to the terms and conditions of the suppliers and are subject to the laws of the country in which the services are provided. By completing a booking for any travel service, clients agree to the extent permitted by law, that Access Travel Pty Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may arise in any way in connection with the provision of car hire, accommodation or travel services. Access Travel Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to property including baggage, any personal injury, including death, or for loss or damage including, but not limited to any delays, transport failures, war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, Acts of God, Acts of Government or of any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action.
Access Travel Pty Ltd recommend that, at the time of booking, clients take an adequate travel insurance policy of your choice to cover such things as loss of deposit through cancellation; loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money; medical expenses; additional expenses to cover hotel accommodation and repatriation costs to Australia should the holiday need to be extended or curtailed due to illness while overseas, or due to the need to return to Australia because of unexpected death or illness of a close relative; and cancellation of transport services due to industrial action. Passport and visa requirements are the responsibility of clients. Access Travel Pty Ltd remind clients that passports should have at least 6 months validity, and that Access Travel Pty Ltd cannot accept responsibility for the failure of clients to ensure that they have correct travel information.
All prices are in Australian dollars. These prices are based on current exchange rates. Prices are inclusive of taxes and charges but they do not include any fees that may subsequently be imposed directly by third parties. All prices are subject to change and Access Travel Pty Ltd reserves the right to increase quoted prices to cover exchange rate fluctuations. A verbal quotation is an estimate only and is subject to confirmation by a written confirmation note or the issue of a formal invoice.
A non-refundable deposit of $150 per person is required with each booking. A confirmation of your booking will be sent to you and the balance will be required 45 days before your departure from Australia, at which time the booking becomes non-refundable. A deposit holds the services you request but it does not guarantee the price. The price is guaranteed from the time of full payment. If for any reason your balance is not received by the due date, Access Travel Pty Ltd reserves the right to treat your booking as a cancellation and to apply the appropriate cancellation charges.
Late bookings are defined as booking within one week of departure. Access Travel Pty Ltd will seek to accommodate such bookings [particularly urgent or compassionate bookings] but full payment is due at the time of booking. Access Travel Pty Ltd has the discretion to charge a $25 service fee for bookings that are made within 24 hours of departure.
Descriptions featured in the brochure and the Web Site are based on information provided to Access Travel Pty Ltd by our suppliers. Any facilities shown as included are subject to change at any time. Images reflect features of a particular geographic area and may not specifically apply to your itinerary. Maps are not drawn to scale. Images of hotel rooms are provided by suppliers as a representation of their accommodation types. Actual rooms may vary in décor, size, and views.
Not included in price
One full tank of fuel is provided with the collection of your hire car. It is the responsibility of clients to return the car with a full tank at the end of the hire contract. It is understood that car hire is for a manual car unless otherwise requested at the time of booking. Other items not included in the cost of car hire are noted on the car hire documentation provided by Access Travel Pty Ltd. This may include Additional Driver Fee and the Location Service Fee. For Motor Home hire, a separate sheet of Terms and Conditions is provided at the time of your booking confirmation and it is the responsibility of clients to read and note this document.
Accomodation and Tours
Items generally not included in the holiday price are items of a personal nature such as laundry, taxis other than any transfers (unless specified), telephone calls, excess baggage charges, personal and baggage insurance, postage ,drinks, room service or meals (unless specified), and taxes and charges (unless specified).
Cancellations, alterations and refunds
No refund is available for cancelled or unused services after travel has commenced. The following cancellation charges apply if you cancel before departure.

Irish Ferries – non-refundable deposit of $150 per person, with balance payable 45 days prior to travel at which time booking becomes non-refundable.
Stena Ferries – full payment is required at time of booking and is non-refundable.
Standard of Service
Access Travel Pty Ltd regularly reviews the levels of service and comfort provided by our suppliers and uses, among other things, a system of client feedback to monitor this. While the suppliers used by Access Travel Pty Ltd always seek to provide appropriate levels of service and comfort, the standard of service you experience throughout your holiday is subject to variables over which Access Travel Pty Ltd has no control. This includes the individual employees in the service of our suppliers. You should seek to address any concern about standard of service or comfort with the immediate persons who are providing that service and at the place of service. If you wish to make a report or claim in the matter of unsatisfactory service this should be addressed immediately on your return and to your travel agent.
