Jan-April              $155.00

May – Oct            $166.00

Nov – Dec            $155.00

The course measuring 6,700 sq. yards from the blue tees was designed by the golf course Architect, Jonathan Gaunt, and can be described as modern with large undulating greens. The green complexes allow for numerous and varied pin positions.
All par 3 holes are guarded or prefaced by lakes increasing the challenge with large bale-out areas for golfers of all handicaps. Lakes come into play on seven holes. These are fully lined lakes with extensive recirculation systems to ensure that the water is always fresh and inviting to the player but hopefully not to the golf ball. Marshes come into play on a number of holes. Castleknock golf course is a unique location, modern in design; it will gratify all golfers due to its varied tee positions, its ease of traverse and its very special location.

When Tom Watson played the main course as part of his preparation for the defence of his British Open title in 1981, he remarked on the fairness of the layout. There are no tricks or nasty surprises, only an honest, albeit searching test of shot making skills. Invariably rated as Ireland’s best course in ballots by the Irish Golf Institute, Portmarnock takes justifiable pride in its 27 holes, which are maintained to the highest standards.

Within the curve of the coastline formed by Howth peninsula, it offers stunning views of Ireland’s Eye and Lambay Island, rising sharply from deep waters. But above all, there is the charm of its delightful turf, the wildness, the solitude of the sand hills and the sea, and the ever-present challenge of the wind.

Co Kildare:

K Club 5*

Jan 09 – Dec 09            $400.00

If ever a golf course reflected the personality of its architect, it is surely this Arnold Palmer designed championship golf course at The K Club Golf Resort in Ireland. It may seem odd to describe a golf course as charismatic and cavalier but from the instant you arrive at the first tee, you are enveloped by a unique atmosphere.

Ireland's First Ryder Cup Venue

You may have been forewarned that Ireland's first Ryder Cup Venue is no ordinary golf course, and that it is widely acknowledged as the country's most challenging inland layout, but still you will be unprepared for the ensuing drama.

The Palmer Course is, quite simply, one of Europe's most spectacular courses.

Co Kildare:

Carton House 4*

Jan 09 – Oct 09            $220.00

Cut through Rolling Meadows and punctuated by native fescue, The Montgomerie blends a storybook setting with the exciting qualities of links golf. Here, the fairways run firm and fast. The intelligent bunker complexes demand strategic and shot-making excellence and the ground game is always in play. In my design, I attempted to go back to a more traditional course. I looked at the great courses around the world – Royal Melbourne, Troon, Turnberry – and worked out what is so good about them. One thing that springs to mind – bunkering. They are hazards and they work with the prevailing wind. Few holes are straight up and down the wind but tend to be across, which brings the bunkering into play. This is the kind of course where the best players would always come out on top”. Colin Montgomerie

Co Wicklow:

Marriott Druids Glen 4*

Jan 09 – Dec 09            $200.00

As a leading Golf Course in Wicklow, Druids Glen is often referred to as "The Augusta of Europe". The flora and fauna of the Glen provide a colourful backdrop to a magnificent golf course. The forests and streams produce a haven for wildlife in what was once a home to the Druids.

Design duo Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock were given the brief to create the best inland golf course in Ireland. The classic parkland course features many signature holes and provides golfers with a thrilling golf experience amidst a beautifully manicured landscape- which is why Druids Glen is considered one of the top golf resorts in Ireland

The ideal location for a Dublin golfing holiday, the Druids Glen name originates from a stone altar of pre-Christian worship, which was discovered during the construction of the golf course, in the thickly forested area overlooking the 12th Green. Today, a Druid stands proudly at the site as a reminder of the history of the Glen.
